Partnerships Central is based around a series of issue and country-specific portals. The issue-specific portals are constructed initially around the WEHAB priorities (Water and Sanitation, Energy, Health, Agriculture and Biodiversity), extending in due course to other issues. Each portal will feature general and issue-specific ‘learn-by-example’ tools such as tangible lessons-learned and replicable good practices; direction on setting up and running partnerships; identifying project financers and navigating funding sources; and understanding and implementing issue-oriented policy prescriptions.

To provide focus at the more local level, in collaboration with governments and local organisations, country-specific portals allow users to focus directly on projects, news and information related to a particular country, and create in-country networks to facilitate new opportunities for partnership. These portals are also designed to allow each government to track and showcase their country’s sustainable development partnership efforts in relation to international commitments.
